GenVETS offers pro bono legal services for military personnel, veterans and caregivers on filing claims and appeals for VA benefits:

- Clothing allowances
- Education benefits
- Military character of discharge reviews
- Upgrade requests
- Applications to Boards of Correction for Military Records ("BCMRs")
We also support legislative initiatives on state and federal levels on issues fundamental to what we consider vital to either protecting or advancing veterans’ rights.
Transitioning
GenVETS partners with a variety of local & national organizations, nonprofits & VA to prepare veterans & transitioning military & their families for civilian life.
